Our latest peer-reviewed paper, to be published soon in Applied and Environmental Microbiology (AEM), shows that the Grignard Pure(R) formulation effectively inactivates airborne microorganisms, resulting in 2 to 4.5 net log reduction and demonstrate that aerosolization provides a more accurate and relevant measure of efficacy for indoor usage.

A report on the performance and efficacy of Grignard Pure® against an array of pathogens including viruses (MS2 and PHI 6 surrogates), bacteria (MRSA, salmonella, mycobacterium, and others), and
mold (aspergillus) as conducted by Aerosol Research Laboratories, Inc.

In May 2020, we contracted with a leading lab for airborne viral testing, to conduct rigorous tests on Grignard Pure®’s effectiveness and efficacy. The results show that Grignard Pure® kills more than 98% of the airborne virus particles. Reach out to us to request a full copy of the report.​​​​​​​

This report documents how aerosolized microorganisms are distributed homogeneously throughout the 16 m³ bioaerosol test chamber. The study demonstrates with a high degree of confidence that samples collected from any of the four designated sampling ports are statistically equivalent and representative of the entire chamber environment. Successful validation is critical to ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of all client and internal bioaerosol testing projects. 

Over the course of several months in 2021, The EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD), under the auspices of the EPA’s COVID-19 research program, evaluated the effectiveness of different technologies including Griganrd Pure® for reducing the level of SARS-CoV-2 virus particle in the air. This document presents the Summary Findings together with additional data and commentary provided by Grignard Pure®.
